Inaugural Entrepreneurial SEED Summit

October 11-12 was the inaugural SEED Summit at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Chamber Vice President Wilson Marseilles and North Arkansas College Dean of Workforce Development David Mason represented the Harrison region. 

Entrepreneurship support organizations and higher education institutions from across Arkansas gathered for community building and sharing of best practices for each of our communities.

Some of Wilson's key takeaways were around:

  • Fostering a network of mentors for entrepreneurs in our community

  • Establishing startup workspace at low (or no) cost

  • Working with North Arkansas College and Harrison High School students to understand and connect with entrepreneurship in our communit
